PRIMPING FEBRUARY 4, 1860 |
| Kid
handed the pouch to the next rider and washed up before heading into town. The dance was
tomorrow, and he hadn't had a chance to get any of the stuff he needed yet. He went first to the bank, where he got some money out of his account and then went to get a haircut. It had been too long since he had a haircut, and since his curly hair tended to look shaggy when it got too long, he knew he needed one. After getting his hair cut, he headed back to the station to see if his good suit was ready. He was glad he didn't need to buy a new one. After making sure that it wasn't torn or stained, he had everything ready for the dance. He had a little money in his pocket for he was sure he would buy something at the donation sale for Blythe. |
