Kathleen was surprised to see Caller Bob riding up to her home. She greeted him and invited him in for some lemonade. They talked for a while, and then Caller Bob handed her the gift card. She couldnt believe what was written on it, and she laughed, figuring it was just a joke. Caller Bob assured her that it wasnt a joke, and hopefully she would participate.

Kathleen was reluctant to agree, but she thought about it while Caller Bob told her about the others who had changed jobs. She couldnt imagine some of them having other occupations. She finally decided since others were doing it that she would do it, too. Besides it was for a good cause. Caller Bob decided it was time to go, he would make another trip to town to see how Cody, Jimmy, and Jacy were getting along in their new roles and also have supper at the hotel.

As Caller Bob was leaving, Melissa came riding up to Kathleens home. Kathleen invited her in and gave her a glass of lemonade, too. Melissa sat in the chair that Caller Bob had previous occupied. They discussed sleeping arrangements and both agreed to stay in their own homes. Melissa didnt stay long, and Kathleen watched her head home. She then went back inside to wash the glasses that she had served lemonade in.

That night before going to bed, Kathleen wondered how she could be a student and watch as Melissa taught her class. She would know more than the teacher. How could she pretend to be a student? With no answers she finally drifted off to sleep.
