Josie finds Javier in the post office where he had been hiding out in hopes that Josie wouldn't find him this morning. "Javier, where's your pa? I've been looking all over town for him." Josie was very upset because every time she wanted to speak to Simon he wasn't anywhere to be found.

"Um . . . Um . . ." Javier was trying to think a logical explanation quickly but he was failing miserably.

"Good morning, Miss Josie." Cody said as he came walking in. "You know I think it's about time that you got to know some of the wonderful people in town. There's one special lady that you just have to meet." Cody took Josie by the shoulders and turned her around, and then he quickly turned his head and winked at Javier. Javier smiled and nodded. Then he hooked Josie's arm with his own and escorted her to the saloon.

"In here?" Surprised that the person the charming gentleman wanted her to meet was in a saloon.

"Yes, in here." Cody started to enter but noticed Josie's reluctance. "She doesn't work here all the time. Her and a friend just switched jobs for a little while. Actually she owns and runs the newspaper, the Pony Express Gazette." Josie took a step forward and Cody held out his arm. They entered. Cody saw Jacy at the other end of the bar talking with Jimmy. As soon as Cody walked in and smiled at Jacy, she stopped talking to Jimmy and walked over to see Cody.

"Miss Josie, I would like you to meet my girl, Jacy. Jacy, this is Miss Josie. She's Simon's sister, Javier's beautiful cousin." Cody introduced the pair. Jacy bashfully smiled when Cody said she was his girl, and Miss Josie did likewise when Cody called her beautiful.

Jacy held out her hand and said, "Hello, Miss Josie. I'm pleased to meet you." Josie took Jacy's hand and shook it.

"Jacy I thought you and Josie could get to know one another. She's new in town and doesn't know very many people." Cody suggested with a charming smile.

Cody had already told Jacy a few days ago that Josie was in town, and they didn't want her to know that Cody and Simon had switched places. Good naturely Jacy had told Cody that he better keep her away from Elena, Charity and Clover for those were the three most likely people in town to spill the beans. Cody decided that she wasn't far from the truth, and he had been doing his best to keep track of Josie and keep her away from those three ladies.

"Why Cody it would be my pleasure to show Josie around town and tell her a little about the people here." Jacy replied. She knew that Cody probably wanted her to do so to keep Josie preoccupied, so she wouldn't find out about him and Simon. "Come on Josie, let me catch you up on all that has been happening around here from the Valentine's dance to the Easter picnic to the people coming and going."
