APRIL 20, 1860

Joshua put on the wagon the seesaws, the swings and all the other equipment that he had been working on. They were all finally done, and Joshua wanted to take them to the school

Kathleen was standing at the schoolhouse doorway when Joshua arrived bringing the equipment. For the next few hours Joshua installed the swing, seesaws and the rest of the equipment under Kathleen's watchful eye. She was so happy. She knew the kids would enjoy playing in the schoolyard much more with the new school equipment.

After finishing Joshua looked happily at his work. It had been worth it. The kids would be happy and so would Ted and Jacy. Kathleen then invited Joshua to have some coffee with her and eat some cookies.

Joshua and Kathleen talked a little bit while they were enjoying the coffee and the cookies, and then Joshua decided that it was time to leave. He thanked her for the food and walked out of Kathleen's house. Before Joshua rode off, he gave another look at the schoolyard, and he knew the kids would love them.
