When Jimmy and Lee came riding into the station, Rachel saw them and wanted to talk to them. As they dismounted, Rachel came over to them. "Jimmy, Lee can I talk to you both a minute?"

"Sure Rachel, what's up?" Jimmy replied as he led Sundancer to the barn and Lee followed with Black.

Rachel followed them into the barn. "I want you both to know that you can come talk to me about anything. I'm here if you need me."

Lee smiled as she rubbed Black down, "Thank you, Rachel. We really appreciate it." Jimmy nodded in agreement.

"Great. Hurry up and wash up. Supper�s almost ready." Rachel called back to them as she left the barn.

Jimmy and Lee finished talking care of their horses and went to wash up.

"Jimmy, I think I'm going to ride over to Caly's and talk to her a moment. " Lee said as she washed up.

Jimmy washed up, "You want me to go along?"

"No, I think I can handle it, kind of like girl talk. " Lee grinned as she threw the towel at Jimmy.

"Okay." Jimmy caught the towel and smiled. Then he caught up with her and they headed into the bunkhouse.

Caly was out riding and thinking. She could see that Jimmy and Lee were getting very close. She was worried for her friends. She thought maybe she could help them if she got some information from Meg about how not to get pregnant and then she could give the information to Lee. She didn't want Lee to lose her job because of her and Jimmy's relationship. Lee was glowing when she had seen her earlier. She didn't say anything had happened between her Jimmy, but Caly could tell.

So Caly rode over to Willow Manor, and as she rode up, she saw Meg sitting on the porch and felt bad that she hadn't come to visit her in a while. She smiled and called out to her, "Meg, I'm glad your here. I was hoping we could talk and catch up. I also have a question for you about something for a friend."

Meg looked up and smiled, "Caly, I'm so glad you came by. I was just thinking about you. Put your horse in the corral and come inside, and we will have some tea and talk." Meg said as she stood and went inside.

Caly put Star in the corral and went inside where Meg met her in the kitchen with a cup of hot tea. The two of them sat there talking for hours. Meg wasn't shocked at Caly�s question about how to keep from getting pregnant, but it did surprise her considering everything she went through. Meg explained everything to her. Meg noticed the time and that she needed to get supper going for Luke and Ian.

The two women said goodbye and Caly promised to stop by again. Meg watched as Caly rode off towards the SJ Ranch.

When Caly reached the ranch she saw Lee waiting for her. The two of them talked as Caly put Star up for the night. As the girls sat on the porch Caly told Lee all about what Meg had told her about being careful not to get pregnant. Caly wrote everything down and gave the paper to Lee.

There are a lot of things available. There are condoms made of snakeskin, but they are very uncomfortable. Also there are plants that can be used: Queens Anne Lace which is taken by drinking the seeds with a glass of water as a sort of morning after prevention. But the thing with plants is that if they are taken wrong, they could be dangerous and aren't 100% effective, but then again, nothing is. And last but not least are pessaries, which is a vaginal suppository (compared to something in our time period it is like the sponge) and was usually a sponge (a regular old sponge like you use on dishes) dipped in vinegar or brandy and inserted.

Lee was surprised but thankful for the information. She didn't know that anybody knew what her and Jimmy had been doing. Lee mounted and rode back to the station glad that she had a friend that cared a lot about her.

Caly watched Lee ride off and smiled knowing that she was able to help her friend.
