MAY 30, 1860
Jimmy made his way into the saloon, and stood at his normal place at the end of the bar. Richard came over and asked, "A sasperilla, Jimmy?"Jimmy nodded as Richard set the mug in front of him.
After serving a few other customers Richard came back over to where Jimmy stood. Wiping a mug clean Richard said, "I didn't know you were a poet."
Jimmy looked up from his mug and said, "I didn't write it. Cody did. Jacy saw me with it when I picked it up from the floor. She thought I wrote it, and put my name on it."
"It was a nice poem. I didn't know Cody could write like that." Richard commented.
They stood there and talked till Jimmy saw Rachel at the door of the saloon looking for him. Finishing his drink Jimmy said, "Well, I better go. Rachels ready." He tossed a few coins on the bar.
Richard nodded, "Glad you came around, Jimmy."
Jimmy nodded. As he left he greeted Rachel at the door. After helping Rachel into the buckboard, he climbing up next to her, and they headed back to the station.
