MARCH 23, 1861
As the young lovers sat under the tree looking at the sunset, Jimmy asked.
"Are you going to enter the rodeo?"
"Yeah, I was thinking about entering the bareback riding event. What about you?"
"Cody and I were talking and we're going to enter the Bull Riding event. Are you going to enter anything else?"
"No." After a short pause Lee said, "You know, Jimmy, there are other things that I'd like to do than talk about the rodeo."
"Like what?" Jimmy asked with an eyebrow raised.
"I'll show you." Lee said seductively as she kissed him deeply.
By the time they got back to the bunkhouse, Teaspoon was worried. The boys had told him not to worry that Jimmy and Lee were fine, but he worried about them anyway. Not so much for their safety, but that they were being careless. When he saw the leaves in both of their hair, he remarked, "Lee, Jimmy, if you two aren't more careful, you'll end up getting Lee fired because you'll have a baby to care for."
"We'll be ok, Teaspoon." Lee tried to assure him. Teaspoon wasn't all that convinced, but he decided to drop the subject for now.
