Jesse told Cody to wait a minute. Cody watched Jesse as he walked over to Rose. Rose was mounted and ready to leave, but she noticed Jesse coming her way, so she waited.

"Rose!"

"Yeah, Jesse?"

"I was wondering if you would like to go to the Easter picnic with me?"

"I�d like that." Rose accepted. Then she left for home and smiled all the way there.

While holding onto Cody, Jesse thought about Rose all the way home, and Cody didn�t say a word. Jesse knew Cody hadn�t been in much of a teasing mood lately since he found out that Jimmy had stole his poem and his girl.
