SEPTEMBER 22, 1860

Javier and Lilly were chatting about last night while having a nice ride on the outskirts of town. "Did you see Tally leave the barn last night?" Lilly asked.

"No, I didnt. Why?"

"Well, I think it was because he saw Samantha outside." Lilly replied.

"Really?" Javier asked.

"Yep, Ive been noticing them watching each other in town lately. I think they like each other, but neither one of them wants to admit it. Maybe we could do a little match making." Lilly suggested.

"I dont know. What did you have in mind?" Javier asked.

"Im not sure. Maybe something will present itself to us later on. But I think they need a little push to get started." Lilly was so happy to have Javier as a boyfriend that she wanted everybody in Dreamville to be happy, too. "Too bad classes arent over yet." She stated as she stopped her horse at their favorite picnic spot.

"Why? Are you tired of square dancing already?" Javier inquired as he spread the blanket out for them to sit on.

"No, Im having lots of fun. Kid is a great Angel." Lilly smiled as she remembered getting turned around and heading in the wrong direction, and Kid grabbed her and directed her in the right direction.

"I hope not too much of an Angel." Javiers jealousy was beginning to show. Lilly liked that. She sat the picnic basket down and then she sat down, and Javier joined her.

"No, not too much. But I have two reasons, for saying that I wish square dancing classes were over. One so that I can start dancing with you. And two so that maybe we could talk Samantha into taking lessons. She might get paired up with Tally. Or even if she dont maybe we could work it out so that they at least got to dance in the same square together." Lilly smiled mischievously as she thought about getting Samantha and Tally together.

"That might work, but unfortunately, classes arent over yet. They wont be over to the end of the year. I think the students graduate in January of next year, and then I dont know if Caller Bob will be starting up classes again so soon. He might not. He might wait a couple of months, so that the students can improve on their square dancing techniques." Javier didnt like to damper Lillys spirits, but he figured that he should tell her what he thought might be the truth.

"Youre right. Well then, we will just have to figured something else out." Lilly said as her smile disappeared.

"Well, I hope we dont have to do that right now because Im starving." Javier eyed the picnic basket and hoped that Lilly was ready to eat.

"Alright, we can go ahead and eat now." Lilly started taking out the food and placing them on their blanket. Javier licked his lips as he saw all the delicious food that Lilly had prepared for their outing.
