Ike wasn't in a very good mood. He had traveled all the way to Austin, Texas, and the person he was looking for wasn't even there. Her folks had told him that she had left weeks ago. After all she's a bounty hunter, so she has to go rounding up those evil outlaws Taylor's ma had told him. Ike had liked Taylor's folks. They were very nice, and they had put him up for the night. They had even offered to let him stay a few nights if he had wanted to, but Ike was eager to get on the trail. He was hoping to find his sister soon.

 Hi Buck,

I didn't find Taylor in Texas. I'm heading to Four Corners to see if her or
my sister has returned there. If they are not there, I will head to Nevada.
I know you're very busy, so you don't have to come and help me. Either
way if I find her or I don't in Nevada then I will head back to Dreamville.
Taylor's folks suggested that I take the train to Nevada. It will be quicker.
I might do that.

Ike walked into the Austin post office and handed his letter to the clerk. The clerk thanked him, and Ike nodded. He then left and rode out of Austin on his way to Four Corners.
