Gavin rode into town today to eat lunch with his wife, Jasmine. He had packed a lunch at the house and was going to surprise Jasmine at work and take her to a picnic lunch.

"Hey, Gavin, what are you doing here?"

"Oh, I just thought that we could go and have a picnic lunch."

Jasmine just hugged her husband tight and then thanked him. "That will be great. I am closing the shop in about fifteen minutes for lunch anyway."

"Ok! Well, then why don't I go and talk to Cody. I saw him outside of the jailhouse, and then I will be back to pick you up?"

"Well I guess I can let you go." Jasmine said with a grin on her face.

"I will be back I promise!" Gavin walked down the street. When he got to the jailhouse Cody was still there.

"Hey Gavin, how are you?"

"I am doing just fine, Cody. How about you?"

"Well, I am actually doing pretty good. I have the day off today so I was
just getting a little reading done."

"I see your starting another dime novel?" They laughed about that a bit.

"What can I help you with Gavin?"

"I was wondering if you could tell me who the new lumber mill owner is?"

"Well, her name is Drucilla Dupont. She took over after her husband died. Her foreman�s name is Joshua Destone. Ok, now I am curious. Why did you want to know about the lumber mill?"

"You�re my friend and I was just coming over here to talk to you."

"Ok I know you are hiding something."

"If you must know, but you can't say a word to a living soul!"

"I promise!"

"I am going to go get wood from the mill and make a special Hope Chest for Jasmine. I was just wondering who the owner was, so I didn't sound like a complete idiot when I went over there."

"I understand that." They both laughed

"Well, I need to go pick up Jasmine for lunch. Thanks Cody for your help. Come by the house sometime. The family misses you."

"Thanks Gavin, I might take you up on that offer. And your welcome, if you need any help just let me now."

"I will Cody. Bye." They said their good byes, and then Gavin was off to pick up Jasmine. They ate lunch together and then Gavin took Jasmine back to work.
