Dev had heard about The Silver Spoon being bought out by a new Dreamville resident. She decided that she wanted to go and see the changes made. She noticed that you couldn't tell that the restaurant had a different owner. Everything was the same.

Clover was her waitress. Dev ordered Steak with potatoes, veggies and bread: .30 and milk to drink for .10. She discovered that the difference was in the taste of the food. She didn't know how, but the food tasted better.

When Clover came with check, Dev paid her the .40 she owed and asked to speak with the cook.

She met Charles, "Charlie" Patrick Montgomery, and through talking with him discovered that the different taste of the food was because of the spices that he used. He learned of these different spices through his world travels.

Dev was memorized as the handsome gentleman spoke with an accent mixed with Scottish and British. He invited her back to the restaurant and she assured him that she would stop by whenever she was in town.
