Destiny had just brought some lemonade out onto the porch. "I wonder who all will attend the church the first Sunday."
"I hope everyone does." Sean answered as he took the glass from her.
"Mrs. Jones, Reverend Sean. Brianna and Jemima have been hurt at school!" Jesse called out as he pulled his horse to abrupt stop.
Sean turned to the lad. "How bad?"
"What happened?" Destiny nervously asked as she watched Sean go after the buckboard.
"The swings broke, and they're underneath the beam. We couldn't lift it so Miss Bourdreaux sent us after you and the doctor.
Sean drove the buckboard to the front of the boarding house. Jesse helped Destiny into the buckboard, then Sean headed for the school with Jesse and Michael following close behind. They were all worried about the girls.
