MARCH 3, 1860

Daniel and Serena walked over to the livery looking for Justin. Seeing Justin at the fire working, Daniel said, "Hello Justin."

Justin looked up and smiled at the Thomsons and said, "Hello Doc, ma'am."

Daniel nodded and said, "You think you could make these earrings for me?" as he handed Justin the picture.

Looking at the picture Justin said, "Yes I can make these. I can have them ready in a few days if theres no hurry for them?"

Serena said, "Theres no hurry. Its a present for our daughter."

Justin nodded and said, "Okay."

Daniel paid Justin the agreed amount of $3.00 for them. "Shes getting married in a month. We wanted her to have them at her engagement party. Would you help spread the word? But don't say anything to Meg or Luke, its a surprise, the earrings and the party."

Justin nodded that he would help spread the word and said, "I am very happy for them."

Daniel smiled and said, "Thank you. I am too." He waved as he led Serena back to the clinic. Justin waved back and thought to himself. Thats one lucky man. Then he went back to work.

Richard walked into the livery to find Justin. He saw Justin hard at work and said, "Hello Mr. Calhoun. I came to pay you for that box you made for me."

Justin looked up and said, "Hello Mr. McDonald. I am glad you liked it. Let me check my books to see how much you owe." Justin checked his books and returned saying, "That will be four dollars."

Richard handed him the money and said, "Thank you so much."

Justin nodded saying, "Youre welcome. You have a good day." Richard nodded and waved as he left and returned to work.
