SEPTEMBER 19, 1860

Clover was cleaning up her last table after closing, and Charlie was doing the books. Charlie was still trying to straighten out the books from when he was at the station. Noah did a good job, but it was just a different style than Charlie's.

"Boy, I'm glad I'm back running this restaurant."

"Riding for the Express was that hard?" Clover asked.

"Oh no, matter of fact, it was fun. It's just that Noah has a different way of keeping the books. I have to transfer everything into my ledgers my way, is all. And I missed the hustle and bustle here at the restaurant."

"So is that why you were late with the mail? Because you were having fun?" Clover grinned.

"Oh that? I was only late one time and that was because the horse got spooked, and I was thrown. I tried to clean up before delivering it to Blythe is all."

Clover just nodded and acted like she didn't believe him.

"So how are the square dancing lessons coming along?"

"Oh. They're fine. Since some people dropped out, I have a new partner, Ted. I wish I could have Noah as a partner, but he's not even in my Square." Clover decided to butter up Charlie and ask for advice. "Do you have any idea how I could get Noah to be my partner at the Square Dancing Lessons?"

Charlie was going to keep his mouth shut and stay out of his employee's lives, but she asked him for his advice. He wasn't going to lie to her. "Well, I think that you should leave Noah alone. He's clearly in love with Ivy. And if you stop chasing her man, maybe you could get along with her and have a wonderful and fun relationship with your sister."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean ya'll look just a like. I bet ya'll could have lots of fun switching up on people and being nice to one another. Just so long as you don't switch up on your jobs, it could be fun. At Oxford I had some friends that were twins and looked just a like. They would switch places with one another and fool everybody. One time one of them even went out on a date with the other's girl to see if she could tell the difference or not." Charlie started laughing at the memory of the girl slapping his friend when she realized that it was his brother and not her beau.

Clover just stood there, an idea forming in her head.
