SEPTEMBER 8, 1861

Charlie and Grace stepped off the train in the dead of night. They went to the dressmaker’s shop and saw that the added living quarters were finished. Charlie carried Grace over the thresh hold.  And they had a wonderful night.

The next morning Caly and Lee were in town getting supplies and they realized that the dress shop was open. They ran in to see their friend, Grace. After bombarding Grace with questions about the mountains and getting the answers, they started to fill Grace in on the happenings of Dreamville.

 “At the Square Dance we found out that Jennifer is Ike’s long lost sister.” Lee said.

“And Lilly got real sick and has had surgery. She should be back at work in the next few days.” Caly said then she smiled and added, “By the way, Buck and I are getting married in October.”

Grace, Lee and Caly all squealed.   

“Do you need any help with anything?” Grace asked.

 “Could use some help altering Mama’s dress.” 

 “Ok just bring it to me.”

 “Also if you would do me one other favor….”

 “Sure anything,” Grace interrupted.

 “Will you be in my wedding?”

 “Of course I will.
