JUNE 21, 1861

Caller Bob walked into Teaspoon's office. "Good morning Teaspoon, how are you?"

"I'm alright. How about you?" Teaspoon had been thinking about his niece getting married.

"I'm fine. I wanted to come by for a couple of reasons." Caller Bob had been hearing some rumors that Grace was pregnant and going to have a baby, and that Grace and Charlie were getting married. He had been very busy and this was the first chance that he had to get in to see Teaspoon in a while.

"Oh, and what might they be?" Teaspoon backed his chair up and folded his hands together and rested them in his lap.

"The Fourth of July is coming up, and I was thinking that we could have a Fourth of July celebration dance. We could have some square dancing and waltzes."

"Sounds like a good idea. Where ya what to have it?" Teaspoon inquired.

"I'm not sure. We can have it out at my barn or here in town. Or maybe Tally -- uh Jedidiah would let us use his arena for the event. What do you think?"

"The arena is good. There's plenty of room, but then I wouldn't be able to make it cause someone has to watch the town." Teaspoon replied.

"Well, then why don't we have it in town. I think that would be better anyway. I'm also going to get some fireworks from the Master Blasters over in Crossbridge. We could set them off a little outside of town." Caller Bob watched as Teaspoon nodded his head, agreeing with his plans. "Teaspoon, I've heard that there's going to be a wedding soon."

"You've heard that have ya? Well, I've been meaning to tell you about it. Yeah, my little Grace is getting married to Charlie."

Half joking Caller Bob said, "Well, I hope I'm invited to the wedding."

Teaspoon smiled. "I'm sure you'll be invited. Have you known anyone to be left out of being invited to a wedding in Dreamville?"

"No can't say as I have." Caller Bob walked closer to Teaspoon's desk. "Could you have one of the riders deliver this request for the fireworks to the Master Blasters for me?"

"Sure, I don't see why not. I have a rider heading that way this evening. I'll get Cody to deliver it and have him bring back a response, so that we know that they can supply us with the fireworks." Teaspoon took the letter from Caller Bob.

"Well, I better get back home. I've got plenty of work to do. Let me know when that wedding is going to be, and what I can get the lucky couple for a wedding present, ok Teaspoon?" Caller Bob headed for the door.

"I'll do that." Teaspoon replied. After Caller Bob left, Teaspoon rode out to the station and gave Cody the note to take to the Master Blasters when he went on his evening run.
