MAY 24, 1861
Caller Bob figured that it was time they started something with the church, especially now since they had a preacher. He didn't want to leave Reverend Sean out of the loop even though he was new in town. He figured that the Reverend would like to have some input into the new church that they were going to build for Dreamville.
"Good morning, Reverend Sean." Caller Bob said as he pulled up in front of the bordello.
"Good morning, Mayor." Sean and Destiny were just coming out of the boarding house.
Caller Bob swung down off Promenade and walked over to them. "Reverend, I thought you might like to ride out to the mill with me to see Ian for some lumber to start building the church. Oh and please call me Bob."
"Or Caller Bob like everybody else does." Destiny piped in.
"Alright, Caller Bob it is then. That's a splendid idea. Miss Destiny would you like to ride with us?"
"No thanks, you fellas go ahead. I have some errands to run." Destiny replied.
"Alright, Ill see you later Destiny. Mayor, I need to get me a horse at the livery." Sean said.
"Ill follow you." Caller Bob turned Promenade around.
After Sean rented a horse from the livery, him and Caller Bob rode out to the mill.
They met with Ian and bartered back and forth on price. They finally decided on $600.00 for the lumber to build the church.
On the way back to town, Caller Bob and Reverend Sean discussed getting the town folks to help constructing the building. Reverend Sean suggested that he should ask for volunteers this Sunday at service. He had decided to conduct one without the church this week. He just hadnt figured out where to have it. He didnt want to have it in the saloon because of the children. Caller Bob agreed with that. He told the Reverend that if he thought of a good spot then he would let him know. They parted ways in town. Reverend Sean went back to the boarding house and Caller Bob went over to the hotel.
