Blythe knocked on the door of the newspaper office. It didn't look like anyone was
there, so she started to slip the piece of paper under the door. Jacy had asked her to
contribute something to this weeks paper, and since she couldn't come up with an
idea for an article, she decided to submit a recipe. One of her favorite hobbies was
cooking, but she didn't really have much opportunity living above the store like she did.
She loved to share her recipes though.
Blythe met Jacy coming toward her as she turned to go.
"Oh, hi Jacy," she smiled. "I was just dropping by my contribution for the
paper."
"Oh, I can't wait to read it," Jacy said as she unlocked the door to the
newspaper office.
"Well, I had trouble coming up with an idea for a story, so I submitted a recipe
instead," Blythe explained. "I hope that's okay."
"That's a wonderful idea," Jacy smiled. "I'm sure everyone will love your
recipe."
"Well, I like it," Blythe smiled. "I hope someone else will."
"It will come out in the next issue," Jacy promised.
"Sounds good," Blythe said. "I have to get to work now. I'll see you
later."
"Bye," Jacy waved as Blythe left the newspaper office.
