ARRIVING HOME FEBRUARY 14, 1860 |
| On
the way home, Kathleen and Absalom chatted about the dance and told each other that they
had a great time. When they got to Kathleen's house, Absalom helped her out of the
buckboard and walked her to her door. "Thank you for going to the dance with me. I had a good time." "So did I" Kathleen smiled. Absalom kissed her hand and she went inside closing the door behind her. She watched through the window as Absalom drove off. |
