"This is very, very different for me. Melodically, it's very range-y--it's quite challenging vocally. I blew out two pieces of equipment in the studio recording it because I was so loud. Keith says it's the most expensive vocal he's ever recorded. We built and built the production, and the whole thing just came to life. It's so dramatic. When my mom heard it, she started to cry. She is so close to me. I probably think of her more than anybody when I sing this song."
