"Karen and I are really good friends, but we don't write together. We're a lot alike, but she's much more hilarious. We just hang out, go to the movies and don't talk about music that much. I went to her song publisher when I was 'making the rounds' for this album. I heard this and said, 'Wow, who wrote that?' They said, 'Karen Staley.' I called her up and said, 'I can't believe you never played me that song!' I love the way the end of the chorus goes and the whole melody of it. IIt sounds to me like something Linda Ronstadt would sing if she were still doing country music."
