THIS PAGE WILL UNDERGO SOME SERIOUS REVAMPING...SINCE I GET TO ATTEND A LOT MORE CONCERTS WITH MY JOB, I HAVE A LOT OF PHOTOS AND STORIES TO SHARE, AND I PLAN TO PUT THEM UP. FOR NOW, YOU CAN ENJOY THESE, BUT COME BACK FOR QUADRUPLE WHAT YOU SEE HERE, AS SOON AS I GET ACCESS TO A SCANNER, THAT IS!

This page is a scrap book of all of my encounters with some famous singers/groups. I have a knack at doing this! I am a very adventous person, and enjoy the challenge of meeting people that I admire.

Check out one of my stories, that has its own page--Click Here!

Read more about the hot band Wanderlust. I met them at my high school, and I guess you could say we all became pretty cool friends!

Let me begin with one Mr. Wierd Al Yankovic. Ever since I was little, I was an Wierd Al fan. I used to roll on the floor laughing every time I heard "Eat It!" and "Like a Surgeon." When I heard he was coming to the Kirby Center in Wilkes-Barre in April 1996, I vowed to see this guy. His latest hit at the time of the show was "Amish Paradise" and "Gump". I went with my crazy friend Jenn Galvin. Whenever her and I get together, it is ALWAYS an adventure. Anyway, I will not ramble on with how we got into the show for free or just how we got back stage, but we met him!! We also met this cool guy from Penn State who is a die-hard Wierd Al fan--he even has a spatula tattoo (come back for that pic). Anyway, Al was so nice. I don't know how people can say he is dumb--anyone with a triple or more digit salary is not dumb! Al is over-flowing with creativity. I love the guy!

Me and Al. I dig his veggie shirt! So much that I could eat it!

Next, I'll tell you about my encounter with Ed Kowalczyk, the lead singer of Live. This was by accident. Myself, Martha De'Leon, Mayra Dominguez and Laura Davidson all went to the Live shoe in August 1995 at Hershey Park Stadium. It was awesome. My first mosh-pit. I loved it. Anyway, I'm straying from the point again. The traffic was horrendous afterwards. The four of us waited in the parking lot just talking with people. Martha and I really had to pee, so we went back to the stadium. Laura and Mayra followed. After we went pee, Martha noticed an open gate. Then, she grabbed me and yelled, "Oh my god!! He's out there!!!" We book across the field! Amidst the litter, shoes and blankets, there he was! Ed! The three of us (Mayra did not come) got our picture with him, and an autograph. We did not really talk to him because we were too nervous. He was a nice guy though.

Here we are with the leading LIVE guy

P.S. I have 3rd row seats to thier August 2 show at Montage in Scranton. We are going to try to get this very pic autographed. Wish me luck!

In the middles of June, a couple of friends and I had free passes to attend the First Annual Alternative Fest at Jack Frost Mountain. The headlinig band was The Spin Doctors. We got their late and only saw them, and the band before them. That band, Lunachicks, was awesome. They were so into the music and really on the up-and-up. Anyway, we also had media passes, so we got to go backstage after the show, which was KILLER, and meet the band. The only one we met was Chris, the lead singer. He was so nice!! He had little daisies, and gave us each one. I have to thank ( I don't remember her name, I have to look at the envelope) the girl who took the picture below and mailed it to me!

Me, Chris, Laura and Sarah

Well, I met Ed again!! Myself and 8 of my friends had 3rd row seats to the Live concert on August 2nd at Montage Mountain. Actually, it was my birthday present to Laura, who turned 18 the day before. I felt a little bad for the rest of the gand because I was the only one allowed to backstage. For the majority of the Coors Light Silver Bullet Summer Concert Series at Montage, 98.5 KRZ and Damon's Ribs sponsored a Backstage Barbeque. I got to go back with them. It was great! I got another photo with Ed!!! And the ribs were absolutley amazing!!! Anyway, the two opening bands, Manbreak and Lucious Jackson each came out to the seats after their performances and Amy, Laura, Bryan and I got pictures with them as well. As far as the Live show---

IT ROCKED!!!

Excellent! Ed and the guys put on a wonderful show! Check out the pictures below:

YES!!!! I have been a country fan for quite some time now. Really ever since I lived in Tulsa. But now that I DJ at Froggy, I am really a huge fan!! And, Bryan White happens, or should I say "hoppens" to be my absolute favorite country singer. He is good-looking, very talented and a wonderful performer. Bryan White is touring with Vince Gill on the Kraft Concert Series and I had the opportunity to attend the Allentown Fair show. I have to thank my boss Hopalong Cassidy for the this one. Not only did I get to see Bryan in concert, but I met him backstage as well!! Can we say excited??? I was more nervous when I met him than anyone else, probably because he's a guy, near my age that I semi-have-the-hots-for. My boss even mentioned to him that I might faint. Bryan was a very sweet guy--he gets it because he is from Oklahoma--everyone there is so hospitable (especially my family that lives there!). I told him that I used to live in Tulsa, and he knew a girl that went to my school. (I didn't know her though. Her name is Erica Page.) I got this picture with him:

Wooooo!!! I have been on cloud nine ever since. I tell all my friends since I am going to marry him, I might as well introduce myself! I know that won't happen, but it is nice to dream!

That is all I have for now--stay tuned--I am adding LeAnn Rimes, Tracy Lawrence and Diamond Rio soon.
