Who are my favorites? Kane, obviously. But before he came along, there were a few others.

Jackie Fargo! The "Fargo Strut"! No body can do it like him. Several have tried, Jeff Jarrett for example. But he can't strut like Jackie. He did more to revive pro wrestling than any other individual. I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. Fargo many years ago.

Don and Al Greene were one of my favorites, in tag-team competition. So were the Masked Marvels. When Bobby Young got out of wrestling, he went to work for Krogers in Memphis. When the Moon Dogs were just getting started, Jackie Fargo sent them to see Bobby. He gave them their first bones! *Hey Bobby!(GRIN!)* And speaking of tag-teams, The Freebirds naturally come to mind. (Lordy that Michael Hayes was something!) *hey Doc!*

Andre the Giant! There was and is none better!

The "Dirty" Dutchman! "Dutch" Mantel. Never knew what he was gonna do, but anytime he was on the card, you knew it would be a good match. I use to watch him, Jerry Lawler, and Bill Dundee wrestle on Channel 13 out of Memphis, every Saturday morning!So I've been a fan for a long, l o n g, time.

These guys today, do things in the ring, that was unheard of 20-25 years ago. They take more,and bigger risks every night in the name of entertainment. For that, they have my undying respect. Mankind, or Mick Foley, is a prime example of this. He is truely a champion!

The next time wrestling comes to your hometown,either one of the BIG THREE, or one of the smaller independent organizations, go and enjoy the show. Not only will there be something for everybody, but you JUST MIGHT walk away with a new found respect for these athletes.
