Long before Shana Petrone made her bid to be the new queen of Country, she was kickin' it freestyle with her dance music classic "I Want You" and other tasty nuggets "Falling Slowly" and "You Can't Get Away" back in late 1989 - early 199O. But she did it under her first name and she was a mere l7 year old when she did it. If you can, track down her first album "I Want You" on Vision Records out of Miami.

Shana Tid-Bits
* "As Any Fool Can See" video - with Tracy Lawrence, Shana got seasick easily on the boat. So to ignore it, she would sing to herself and that was how she got her first big break.

* "Heaven Bound" - Shana's 1998 debut on the country charts. Though the song didn't do that great, it helped gain fans and the respect that she wanted.

* Shana was a dancer in the movie EXIT (1996, rated R)
