Full Moon
When there's a full moon all aglow,
Then you'll surely know,
I'll be out on the prowl,
Like an ole' hoot owl.
When Spring's showers are blowin' strong,
I'll be singin' a happy song.
Soon flowers will be spread all around
To decorate the botanical ground.
When summer's sun is beatin' down,
I won't be goin' into town.
I'll be under the biggest shade tree.
Try as you might, you won't budge me.
When Autumn's leaves are pilin' up,
I'll be frolicin' with my pup.
Cool, crisp breezes will cozy the air
For all to enjoy, if they dare.
When winter's snow falls in powdered flakes,
Onto frigid hands and frozen lakes.
I'll be buildin' the biggest snowman,
Jus' to prove I can.
When there's too few hours in the day,
I have so many bills to pay.
I'll do my best at what I do,
Give it my all, see it through.
When there's a full moon all aglow,
Then you'll surely know,
I'll be out on the prowl,
Like an ole' hoot owl.
