R. C. Youngblood
R. C. was born in Osage, Arkansas on December 20,1948. He came from a family of musicians.
His mother and father both played and sang and so did his siblings.
Like most country singers, he got his start singing church songs. He's been singing since he was big enough to talk.
Known as "The Singer's Singer", he can belt out a
Merle Haggard tune with the best of them.
He's been performing live since he was about 14 years old, everywhere from Arkansas to California.
He also won several talent contests in Viet Nam with his golden voice, while doing a hitch over there.
As I listen to this guy sing and see his performance, I can tell he feels right at home on stage. I hear a little of Vern Gosdin, Merle Haggard,
Gene Watson, Lefty Frizzell, and Marty Robbins with each song he sings.
He just finished recording his first solo CD
"R. C. Youngblood Sings Heartbroke Country".
Four of the 10 songs on the CD he wrote himself.
Let me tell you, folks, this guy is a fantastic writer too. He can write about heartbreak with the best of the writers.
Watch for this guy!! He will be hitting the top of the charts fast and remain there!!
R. C. Youngblood, remember that name! You'll hear it often!

R. C. says his favorite place to be is out on the lake fishing.
His Songs are:

I Don't Even Know His Name
