Art Bailey was born in Mississippi. He spent most of his life living all over the south. His family loved to sing. One of his favorite childhood memories is Christmas time in his grandmother's small trailer, singing Christmas carols and country tunes with all of the family who had gathered there. Art's singing ability was recognized when he was about 6. He would take center floor and boom out his version of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia". |

Art moved to Colorado when he was 14 and started learning to play guitar. Not too long afterward, he discovered he could write his own lyrics. He realized he was getting better when his mother didn't ask him to leave the room while performing his new songs. In no time at all, people were requesting Art to do his own stuff. |

One of Art's favorite gigs was playing at Camp Jackson for children. He worked as a horse wrangler there, and at night, they sat around the campfire and sang. Camp Jackson was a great inspiration for a lot of the songs Art wrote. He writes about things around him. This is his way of paying tribute to where he came from, who he is, and who he will become. "Burnt Mill Road" is a song about an actual place in his hometown of Colorado City, Colorado, where highschool sweethearts gathered to gaze at the stars and each other. |

Art has a true love for the business and has a fun time doing it! He dedicates his first two songs to his late grandfather, Curtis Wilson, and his late uncle, Rick Wilson. They loved country music as much as he does and were a big inspiration to him. Art feels a great deal of gratitude to his family and friends for all of their encouragement. A quote from him, "When I fall, you lift me up, and if I rise too high, you bring me back to earth". Art's humble ways and gentle spirit make him a real crowd pleaser! RMCMA is proud to add him to our All Star line up. His soon to be released songs are sure to top the charts around the world. |
