As I stood by the creek,
the sun glistened on the water,
like your smile does in my eyes.

I could have sworn I saw your reflection,
on the crystal clear water.

When the wind blew,
I always heard you calling my name,
and when I turned around,
you were not there.

That's when a tear dropped from my face,
into the water.

I guess in other words,
I missed you dearly.
