The Boys' Brigade 12(I)th Singapore Company Bagpipe band is Singapore's ONLY student bagpipe band, and it has quite a unique history. Through the more than 4 decades of existance, it has changed rather a lot, from the fife (something like a flute) and drum band at its start, it grew, shrunk, grew again and shrunk again, in terms of instrumental population, and has had quite some names. Once, it was almost 80-strong, but also once it was less than 20-strong. Thus, we are proud to be alive today, as also because we are a totally non-profit Band. The band only just became a fully bagpipes and drums band, as there was initially a brass section. However this brass section was put aside as there was a drop in membership in recent times. But no matter what, our vision is to uphold God's name and give Him all glory and our best.
