Dec. 7th - Toby will attend a dedication ceremony in his honor at an elementary school in Moore, OK (his hometown). He donated some monies from his Tornado Relief Benefit & they are going to use the monies to landscape the school as the tornado totally destroyed the school grounds as well as the school. Insurance monies paid to rebuild the school, but not to landscape. They will plant a tree in Toby's honor while he is there and the rest of the trees the following Saturday.

Dec. 10th - Toby will sing the National Anthem & perform @ half time @ the Titan's game @ Adelphia Coliseum

Toby has been nominated for an American Music Award "Favorite Album Country Music" for How Do You Like Me Now. Winners will be announced on Jan. 8 on ABC (check local times and listings) Keep your fingers crossed!

A new and different episode of HIT TRIP is telecast each Friday in December (7:00-8:00 PM, ET and 2:00-3:00 AM, ET; repeats Saturday at 1:00-2:00 PM, ET; and Wednesday at 4:00-5:00 PM, ET). Friday, Dec. 29 � Toby Keith welcomes Jeff and Alecia to his home state of Oklahoma. Keith, a former oilfield roughneck, shows the HIT TRIP hosts how he worked the oilrigs. Toby's Video a TNN/MCN Finalist Nashville, TN. Feb. 4th. -

It was announced in a new conference today that Toby's "Getcha Some" video was voted as one of the five finalists in the TNN/Music City News Awards voting. The next round of voting will be announced shortly. The five final video nominees will be highlighted during the TNN/Music City News Awards show to be broadcast on June 14, 1999 on TNN. Greatest Hits Strikes GOLD! Nashville, TN, Jan 25th - TKO Artist Management and Mercury Nashville announced today that Toby's "Greatest Hits, Volume One" has been certified GOLD by the RIAA, indicating sales of 500,000 units.Congratulations Toby! Toby's Next Single "If a Man Answers", from Toby's "Greatest Hits, Volume One" will be released on February 8, 1999. There will not be a video for this single.
