In the Springtime of His Years
-Liner Notes-

Steve Sanders is a young man with a vision who, IN THE SPRINGTIME OF HIS YEARS, has recorded this album with all the fervor and zeal of his youthful dedication and exuberance.

This young man is definitely a stimulating individual with a mission to youth. He is a spirited fun-loving person with countless creative activities and finds trememdous enjoyment in everything he does. He radiates warmth, friendship and enthusiasm as you speak with him and finds great pleasure in meeting people. Steve is truly an excellent example of a young person living a wholesome life and enjoying every minute of it.

Smoothly accompanied by the harmonious Florida Boys, Steve sings a stimulating number entitled God Bless America Again . Steve is a patriotic young man in the prime of his youth who is proud to stand up and be counted among those who love their nation and are loyal to its flag. An eloquent recitation is give and we experience a tug of the heart strings just listening to this ardently sincere American plead with God for strength for our struggling young country with its trials and errors. It is in reality a prayer of supplication for help in overcoming our faults and failures as we strive to become a nation truly serving God. Young men such as Steve, with all the promises of life ahead, are vastly concerned regarding the future of our nation and its need of the Lord, for this is the world they are inheriting.

Typical of today's performances, Steve offers I Won't Ask For More, a swinging contemporary arrangement, with a strong beat just suited to the musical taste of our young people. Using another contemporary setting, Steve tells it "like it is" as he sings the lilting gospel song Happiness. Assuredly he sings that "happiness is just a prayer away."

Steve also recorded a poignant number, Don't Wish The Good Times Away. If only we, as parents, will heed the words of this song. It is a consecrated plea for loving parents to cherish their children in their precious childhood - for all too soon they are grown and absent from the home. This meaningful thought for all parents is from the heart of this marvelous young singer who blesses our lives with his voice.

Canaan is proud of Steve's tremendous talents and charm. Won't you join us as we listen to him sing his way from childhood through fleeting youth and into maturity?
