Judy DeRamus was born in Gold Beach, Oregon and when she was a small child her parents moved to Oklahoma.

Judy begin singing on live radio shows when she was only 3 years old and throughout her young years until she was eighteen years of age Judy would sing in the local churches in Southeastern Oklahoma.

At the age og eighteen she signed a recording contract to sing country music and was a part of the Tommy Collins Show. Sam Phillips of Memphis, Tennessee was a booking agent for her.

While performing on tour in a night club in Cheyenne, Wyoming, she heard the song, "ONE DAY AT A TIME" sung by Marilyn Sellers, written by "NOW" close friend, Marijohn Wilkin. The Holy Spirit used that song to bring her back home and in fellowship with a loving Heavenly Father.

Judy is married to Dr. Doug DeRamus and they have three children. Joshua, Caleb and Felicia Ra Angel DeRamus. Nineteen years ago Judy and Doug founded Good News Fellowship Church in Broken Bow, Oklahoma where they continue to pastor.

Just Like Mama! Felicia Ra Angel DeRamus enjoys singing before audiences and on T.V. Felicia is now 5 years old and has recorded her first song at "His Studio" (LaVerne Tripp's studio). Felicia said, "It's fun!"

After fourteen years of being out of the recording business Judy became acquainted with singer/songwriter/actor, Hoyt Axton in 1989. At Axton's urging, Judy started once again to record and get involved with the music industry. However, this time, her beloved Gospel music.

Judy has had nine #1 songs in Christian Country/Country Gospel music and has been recognized from her home to our Nation's Capital. Judy has recieved many recognitions but one of her most cherished was when the United States Congress presented her a Certificate of Special Congresional Recognition for her work in Gospel music.

Judy made an appearance in the top ten movie, "THE APOSTLE" starring Robert Duvall and Farah Fawcett.

Judy records for Devoted Music and has had three recorded projects with The Jordanaires. The famed group that backed Elvis Presley until 1970. Two albums with The Jordanaires, "Judy DeRamus with The Jordanaires" and "His Kind Of Love" were both up for a GRAMMY Nomination on the GRAMMY Entry List.
