The Flatland Bluegrass Band is an exciting home-grown Virginia Bluegrass band. They are now one of the state's most popular Bluegrass bands. The Flatland Bluegrass Band's members are veteran musicians who have many years of on-stage musical experience. They have performed from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Chesapeake Bay, and from Northern to Southern Virginia. Through the years they have been chosen to play many of the top Bluegrass Festivals in the area. The tight harmonies and high-energy instrumentals make this an excellent group to entertain all ages with their mix of traditional & contemporary Bluegrass music as well as Bluegrass Gospel Music. The current members are Randy Grigg, guitar and vocals; Karen Grigg, mandolin and vocals; Josh Meade, banjo; and Fred Staggs, bass. The band performs for private events as well as public functions. Through the years the Band has opened for a number of Nashville musicians and played at many Bluegrass festivals with some of the top national Bluegrass acts. They are right at home playing festivals, concerts, stage shows, private parties and other special events. Just E-Mail us for more information, availability and prices. And please sign our Guestbook to let us know who you are and how you liked our Website. There you can also let us know if you would like to be added to our E-Mail List reminding you of when and where we are playing our good ole Bluegrass Music. Thanks again for visiting with us and come back to visit real soon!
