Subject: "Lake Bait"
 For the "Lake Bait" I use  (Hen Scratch, Cotton Seed Meal, Flour,
Water, & Also Chicken Blood if available).  Instructions; Mix 2 Quart's Hen
Scratch & 2 Quart's Cotton Seed Meal in 5 gallon contaner w/lid, Mix with
enough water to only make it soggy, Put lid back on container & Let mixture
sit until it fermits & sours at least 2 weeks, But a longer period will be
better, The longer it sits the more it stinks, After that period add 1 pint
or less of chicken blood & add enough flour to make it gummy to where it
will form a ball the size of hardballs,  Put balls back into container and
fasten w/lid and keep until ready to throw into lake do not let them dry out
are they will float across the lake, If they tend to dry out sprinkle with
water.  At last throw several into your favorate spot on the lake wait about
15 minutes then start fishing & catch your limit of catfish.
