Beef stew
1 kg. beef, 2 onions, 1 bulb garlic,
1/2 kg. cauliflower, 1 spoon honey. Cut the meat into medium big pieces.
Stir fry a little in
a stew pan the thin scliced onions and garlic. Add a tea spoon of sugar, an idea of salt
and 1/3 teaspoon of cinnamon. When the onions are half-fried add two glasses of hot water.
Let it boil for 10 minutes, add the meat and leave it with the stove set to medium to
simmer for 1 an a half- 2 hours. Don't cover the pan completely.
Meanwhile you can
prepare a celery, garlic and roasted peppers salad, take a beer out of the frig and enjoy
"their company".
If the meats shows
over the water in the pan add some more hot water but only enough to cover the beef. When
the meat is cooked /tender/ pour in the pan the torn to little pieces cauliflower /tear it
with your hads don't cut it by knife/. It should be cooked in a few minutes. Then add the
honey, stir and voilà ...

Scottish eggs
9 eggs, 1 kg. minced meat, ground
pepper, salt, aniseed, 1 big slice of bread, 100 ml. milk, corn flour
There isn't an esier
recipe. Hard boil 8 eggs. Peel them. Soak the slice of bread in the milk. After a while
drain it from the milk, tear into small pieces and blend it in a big bowl with the
remaining /raw/ egg, the minced meat and the rest of the ingredients, without the corn
flour. Put it in the frig for 15 min.
Wrap well the eggs
one by one with the mixture. Don't make the wrapping too thick or else it won't cook well.
Roll the wrapped eggs in the corn flour and fry them in the friteuse or in a large pan
with half an inch of oil. Make sure they fry well from all sides and... / WITH
BEER!!!/

"Green"
trout with mayonnaise sauce
2 two middle size trouts / what's a
middle sized trout?!. Well, it shouldn't be smaller than the pal of your hand and bigger
than the pot that you'll cook it in :)/, condiments for boiling fish /you should find them
in every good spices store if you don't: juniper fruits, allspice, celery, carrot, black
pepper/, 150 gr. mayonnaise, 300 gr. plain yogurt, 15 gr. ground green pepper /not
peppers/, 80 g. celery, 60 gr. parsley, 50 gr. butter
Put the two fish in
a big glass bowl with the boiling condiments and of course water in the microwave oven.
The fish should be boiled in some 15-20 min., it depends of the oven. Preheat the regular
oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Drain the fish. Chop finely the celery and the parsley and
stuff with 2/3 of it the bellies of the trouts. Put each of them in a piece of alluminium
foil, but before closing the wrapper, spread around 25 g. of butter ontop of each fish.
Cook in the oven for about ten minutes. Meanwhile prepare the sauce. Mix the mayo, the
yogurt, the rest of the celery and the parsley and the green pepper. Blend it well. The
ideas about the serving I leave to you.
