In Memory of Kirk
In Loving Memory of our son and brother, Kirk

This dove has been placed here for all the survivors of a sudden tragedy.
This page is made in loving memory of our son and brother, Kirk,
who was killed Feb. 21, 1986 at the age of 16, in a firearm accident.
Kirk was born Nov. 9, 1969 and passed from this life
Feb. 21, 1986. Kirk had a friendly, outgoing nature. He was
always ready with a smile and a joke. He had a
variety of interests, including playing hockey, skating, refereeing
and coaching his sister Marcy's ringette team. He also
loved his horses. He was active in 4-H and his
gymkhana club.Hunting, fishing, and anything to do with the
outdoors gave him great pleasure. He enjoyed working
with his hands, going to his grampa's farm
and helping people.
Kirk got along with everyone, whatever their age
and was good with younger children. He had numerous
friends, both young and old. He was especially close
to his big brother, Mark and shared a special
relationship with his sister Marcy.
The sudden death of our much loved son, Kirk
brought his family and friends, much sorrow and loneliness
We still miss him a great deal.
We now have three precious grandsons, that will never
know their Uncle Kirk. Our oldest grandson, Dylan
reminds us so much of Kirk it creates a heartache. Kirk would
have been a wonderful uncle.
There were so many things Kirk never got
to do in his short life. At the time of his passing,
he was looking forward to getting his driver's license. He
packed a lot of living and loving in his short life.
Good-bye sweetheart. We love you!! We hope to see again one day.

This candle will always burn in memory of Kirk Eric David Myrheim.

Matt. 6:19: Do not store up treasures for yourselves here
on earth, where moths and rust destroy, and robbers
break in and steal. Instead, store up treasures for yourself
in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and robbers
cannot break in and steal. For where your
treasures are there your heart will be also.

WHEN HE COMETH
When he cometh, when he cometh
To make up all his jewels,
All his jewels, his precious jewels,
His loved and his own,
Like the stars of the morning,
His bright crown adorning,
They shall shine in their beauty,
Bright gems for his crown.
He will gather, He will gather
The gems for his kingcom,
All the pure ones, all the bright ones,
His loved and his own.
Little children, little children,
Who love there redeemer,
Are the jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and his own.

GOD'S LENT CHILD
I'LL LEND YOU FOR A LITTLE WHILE
A CHILD OF MINE, GOD SAID
FOR YOU TO LOVE THE WHILE HE LIVES
AND MOURN FOR WHEN HE'S DEAD.
IT MAY BE SIX OR SEVEN YEARS
OR FORTY-TWO OR THREE.
BUT, WILL YOU, TIL I CALL HIM BACK,
TAKE CARE OF HIM FOR ME?
HE'LL BRING HIS CHARMS TO GLADDEN YOU
AND...SHOULD HIS STAY BE BRIEF...
YOU'LL HAVE HIS LOVELY MEMORIES
AS A SOLACE FOR YOUR GRIEF.
I CANNOT PROMISE HE WILL STAY,
SINCE ALL FOR FROM EARTH RETURNS;
BUT THERE ARE LESSONS TAUGHT BELOW,
I WANT THIS CHILD TO LEARN
I'VE LOOKED THE WHOLE WORLD OVER
IN MY SEARCH FOR TEACHER'S TRUE.
AND FROM THE THINGS THAT CROWD LIFE'S LANE
I HAVE CHOSE YOU.
NOW WILL YOU GIVE HIM ALL YOUR LOVE?
NOR THINK THE LABOR VAIN?
NOR HATE ME WHEN I COME TO TAKE
THIS LENT CHILD BACK AGAIN?
I FANCIED THAT I HEARD THEM SAY
DEAR LORD, THY WILL BE DONE
FOR ALL THE JOYS THY CHILD WILL BRING
THE RISK OF GRIEF WE'LL RUN
WE WILL SHELTER HIM WITH TENDERNESS,
WE'LL LOVE HIM WHILE WE MAY
AND FOR THE HAPPINESS WE HAVE KNOWN
FOREVER GRATEFUL STAY.
BUT SHOULD THY ANGEL CALL FOR HIM,
MUCH SOONER THAN WE'VE PLANNED,
WE'LL BRAVE THE BITTER GRIEF THAT COMES
AND TRY TO UNDERSTAND
