    married, 1775, Martha Wilson.
    John served in the Revolutionary War. He was a miller and a millwright. He represented Adams Co., OH in the state senate for many years. Came to Bratton twp., Adams Co., in 1801. He was also a surveyor and helped build Zane Trace (road).
    John d. 31-Jul/Oct-1812, Red Oak, Ohio, buried Brown Co., OH.
