Ricky's Mandarin Dessert
1 (11 oz.) can Mandarin oranges
1 (6 oz.) pkg. orange Jello
2 C. boiling water
1 pint orange sherbet
Drain oranges, reserving syrup, and set aside. Add water to syrup to make 1 C. In a bowl dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add the syrup-water and stir. Add sherbet by spoonfuls, stirring till melted. Chill until thickened. Fold in oranges. Pour into serving bowl or bowls. Chill till set.
