CINNAMON BUBBLE LOAF

< font size=4>Ingredients

DOUGH RECIPE

7/8 c. buttermilk

1 egg

3 c. all purpose flour

1 tsp salt

4 tbls. butter

1/4 c. sugar

1/4 tsp. baking soda

1 1/2 tsp. active yeast

Place all ingredients in bread pan, select dough setting and press start. When dough has risen long enough, the machine will beep. Turn dough out onto a floured countertop or cutting board.

TOPPING INGREDIENTS

1/2 c. melted butter

1 1/2 c. brown sugar

2 tsp. cinnamon

Brush a 9" ring mold with a little of the melted butter needed for the topping. Gently roll and stretch dough into a 24" rope. With a sharp knife divide dough into 12 equal pieces. Then cut each of those into 5 small pieces. In a small bowl combine the brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinke 1/4 c. of sugar mixture into prepared pan. Dip each piece of dough into melted butter, then roll in the sugar mixture. Place sugar coated pieces in pan in layers. Cover and let rise in warm oven 30-45 minutes until doubled in size. (to warm oven slightly, turn oven on warm for 2 minutes, then turn it off, and place covered dough in oven to rise). Remove pan from oven to preheat. Preheat oven to 350�. Bake for 25-30 minutes until brown. Remove from oven, turn out onto a plate.
