Time: 25 minutes
Makes: 12 sandwiches

Ingredients

6 pitas
1 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onions
1 medium Delicious apple, chopped
1/4 cup dark seedless raisins
1 1/4 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 8-ounce container plain yogurt

Instructions

1 In 10-inch skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef and onion until meat is browned and onion is tender; spoon off any excess fat. Add apple, raisins, salt and curry. Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 5 minutes or until apple is tender-crisp.
2 Cut each piece of pita bread in half to make 2 "pockets." Fill each half with about 1/3 cup beef mixture. Pass the plain yogurt separately to spoon into each sandwich.
