Peach Melba Shake

Time: 10 minutes
Makes: 4 servings

Ingredients

4 medium peaches, or 2 cups frozen
unsweetened sliced peaches
1 1/2 cups frozen unsweetened raspberries
1 cup skim milk
1 tablespoon plus 1 teaspoon fresh lemon
juice
2 teaspoons honey
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
4 teaspoons plain wheat germ

Instructions

1-If using fresh peaches, immerse them in a pot of boiling water and blanch until their skins start to split, about 1 minute. immediately drain the peaches and cool them under cold running water. peel off the skins and slice.
2-Place the peaches, raspberries, milk, lemon juice, honey, vanilla, and cinnamon in a blender. process until smooth, 20 to 30 seconds.
3-Pour the shake into four glasses and top each one with 1 teaspoon of the wheat germ.
