HAM & CHEESE SALAD
Salad ingredients: 4 oz baked ham, cut into cubes 4 oz. Swiss cheese, cut into cubes 2 cups of pasta, cooked & drained 1/2 medium onion, diced Garnish: Lettuce leaves to line plates, & 1 orange, peeled and sectioned
Dressing ingredients: 1/2 cup bottled Italian dressing 1 cup sour cream 1/4 cup orange juice 2 tsp Dijon-style mustard 1/2 tsp sugar
Combine dressing ingredients & set aside. Combine all salad ingredients, except lettuce and orange sections. Cover with dressing & mix well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour. When ready to serve, line plates with lettuce leaves. Add salad mixture & garnish with orange sections. Makes 4 servings.
Note: This makes a great light lunch or dinner. |
