SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE
A great side dish to accompany holiday meals.
2 cans (40 ounces each) cut yams or sweet potatoes 1/4 cup packed brown sugar 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon 2 cups miniature marshmallows
1. In large saucepan, heat yams until thoroughly warmed. Drain slightly, and mash yams until creamy. Stir in brown sugar and cinnamon. 2. Place yams in casserole dish. Top with marshmallows. 3. Bake in 325� oven for 20 minutes or until marshmallows are lightly browned. Yield: 10-12 servings. |
