NEIMAN MARCUS CAKE

1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick melted margarine
3 eggs
1 to 2 cups pecans (whole or chopped)
1 (8-ounce) cream cheese softened
1 box confectioners sugar

Combine cake mix, melted margarine or butter and 1 egg. Press into a 9x13 inch pan. Spread pecans on top of mixture. Mix remaining 2 eggs, cream cheese and confectioners sugar. Spread on top. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours or until golden brown.

I have used this with chocolate cake mix and also pineapple.
Watch the time, when the top becomes real crispy, take a toothpick and poke the middle of the cake.
