FRUIT~n~NUT CAKE

Hi . Just thought I would share this recipe for Christmas.
This is not your everyday fruit cake, in fact I hate fruit
cake but love this!  Donna

l- l/3c candied red cherries 1/2 lb
1c candied pineapple 1/2 lb
1 l/2 c pitted dates 1/2 lb
1 T. flour
4 l/2 c pecans
l/2 c flaked coconut 4 oz.
1 can (14oz) sweetened condensed milk

Grease pan, combine fruit in large bowl, sprinkle with flour
toss to coat well. Add nuts and coconut, toss. Add milk mix
by hand to get it mixed good. Spoon evenly in pan. Bake 250 degrees for 1 l/2 hours cool in pan. Wrap in foil. Store in fridge at least two weeks This is more like a fruit and nut bar. no cake really. Hope you enjoy this one. I have 40 years accumulation, some good, some my husband just likes ( not so good). :-) Donna
