EZ  NO-BAKE COOKIE BARS

1 (6 oz) package of chocolate or butterscotch chips
1/2 C smooth peanut butter
3 C Rice Crispies cereal

Melt chips in top of  a double boiler. Stir in peanut butter. Mix thoroughly & cook for 10 more minutes.  Remove from heat & gradually beat in cereal until well blended. Spread evenly into a buttered 8 inch square pan.  Let cool, & then cut into squares. Store in an air tight container.
