EASY CABBAGE CASSEROLE
1 head cabbage 1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 2 cups breadcrumbs (optional) 1/2 stick butter or margarine
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coarsely chop cabbage. In medium saucepan, cook cabbage in salted water for 8 minutes. Drain and rinse in cold water. Put cabbage in casserole dish and top with soup and cheese. Place breadcrumbs on top and slice butter over top. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 4 as a side dish. |
