BAKED APPLE CRISP

8 cups (about 8 medium) unpeeled, thinly sliced apples
2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
1-1/2 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 tsp. ground cinnamon, divided
1-1/2 cups natural apple sauce
1 cup uncooked rolled oats
1/2 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1/3 cup evaporated skim milk
1/4 cup nonfat dry milk powder
1 cup shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese

1. Preheat oven to 350�F. Spray 2-quart casserole dish with
nonstick cooking spray.

2. Toss apple slices with granulated sugar, lemon juice and
2 tsp. cinnamon in a large bowl. Spoon into prepared dish.
Spread apple sauce evenly over apple mixture.

3. Combine oats, brown sugar, flour, evaporated milk, dry
milk powder and remaining 2 tsp. cinnamon in medium bowl. Spread over apple sauce.

4. Bake at 350�F for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top; cool slightly; serve warm.

Makes 12 servings.
