Heat syrup and sugar over medium heat only until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat. Stir in peanut butter until smooth. Mix in rice cereal. Pour into an 8 x 12 inch buttered pan. Cut into squares when thoroughly cooled. Makes 2 dozen squares.
